Obituary of Beth Smith

Peacefully, on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at the Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia, at age 86. Beth (nee Shier), beloved wife of the late Murray Smith of Cannington. Loving mother of Rod Smith and his wife Wendy of Cannington. Loved grandmother of Nicole and her husband Brandon Kernan of Brechin, and Brittney and her husband Earl Fairweather of Cannington and great grandmother of Mila, Madeline, Anna, Ellie, and Scottie. Predeceased by her sisters Lorna and Joan. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service to celebrate the life of Beth Smith will be held at the Stone Church Cemetery, in Beaverton on Friday, September 27^th at 1 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to the THORNE FUNERAL HOME, 109 Laidlaw Street South in Cannington (705-432-2672).
