I will feel your touch and hear your voice in all of nature the gently blowing breeze, the amazing new flowers that spring up each spring. Dear Bruce and family, We were so sorry hear of Terry's passing. Although we didn't know her well, we did know that she was a delightful lady. My Expression for you: Iola " Terry " Gerrow In this Stairway to Heaven, The times we shared were some of the best times "I" Have had as a Fill in Mom when I lost my Mother on June 26th 1988,You opened up your heart We were Two Different People, Your Son was my Friend since 1978 and when he took me home too your home it was like Home too me! Terry and Bruce you were very good Friends to me and for that "I" will always have you in my thoughts from time to time. As one day we will all met again and will be spending time together Chatting as we once did ,If we have faith, and belief, that we are in "Gods" care then we can believe that the Lord is with Us everywhere. His Angels have being send to protect us from harm and to teach us about love thy neighbor, And that's how I think that he helped me find a Wonderful Lady Such as You! During the the second world was most of the able bodied men we off overseas fighting for our country, the game of baseball was in limbo, so the women filled the void. It was just like the movie League of there own. That is where she got her nick name Terry, I wish I could have seen her back then, but when I was growing up we would play catch and she was so fast, so accurate, and the way she could tumble, slide and run. She would get all of us kids together and get a game of base ball going, it was great fun and a lot of good memories.
She told us lots of stories when she got hit in the mouth with a bat and broke all of her front teeth and still finished the game, ouch. When she was running to first base and got hit with a ball and got knocked out cold. I never really sunk on until I saw that movie as she was a professional base ball player and she made us so proud. Just thought I would share storie with you all
