Ross Shier Entered into rest at Lakeview Manor in Beaverton, on Sunday, March 7th, 2010. Ross Willard Shier, in his 90th year, was the beloved husband of the late Aileen Phyllis Warren (1992). Loving father of Paul (Gloria) of Sunderland, Ralph (Anne) of Goodwood, Roger (Lise) of Greely and Wayne of Sunderland. Dearly remembered by eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. Dear brother-in-law of Leona Shier of Orillia. Predeceased by his brother Harvey Roscoe Shier (2009). Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Memorial Chapel, 98 River Street in Sunderland, on Friday, March 12th, from 7-9 pm. Funeral Service in Vroomanton United Church 2 km west and 2 km north of Sunderland on Saturday, March 13th, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Interment Sunderland Cemetery. As a remembrance, donations to Vroomanton United Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation, would be gratefully appreciated.
