Lynda MacArthur-Lancaster Entered into rest at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Wednesday, December 30th, 2009. Lynda Carol Dukelow, in her 59th year, was the beloved wife of Stephen Lancaster of Woodville. Mother of Jennifer MacArthur Macilhome and William MacArthur. Predeceased by her brother Lynn Dukelow, her father Kenneth Dukelow and her mother Helen (Brown) Dukelow (Oct. 11, 2009). Survived by her sister Sharon (Dukelow) Alger and her companion Bill. Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. After an ongoing battle with asthma and fibromyalgia, Lynda was suddenly overcome by cancer and after a brief seven day hospitalization, succumbed to this affliction. Sadly missed by her best friend Marg Black and Bud Metherel, along with many other friends and co-workers over her lifetime. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 16th, 2010 at the Woodville Legion Hall from 1:00 until 4:30 pm. Memorial donations to the Parkinson's Society, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated and can be made through the Thorne Funeral Home in Cannington.
