On Wednesday September 2, 2009, 3 days shy of his 90th birthday, Bert passed away peacefully. Beloved husband of the late Betty (1986.) Dad to Susan Ross of Cannington and Ellen (David) Clark of Toronto. Grampa Bert to Robyn, Erin, Allison, Andrew, Jim and Rob. Great grandfather of 8. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service 1:00 pm Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw St.S. in Cannington. If desired, donations to the Hospital for Sick Children.
